On the 19th January 2023, at the Albanian National Film Archive in Tirana, were presented the four short films produced by two young artists from Albania and two from Montenegro that had been selected through a public call as part of the RECON Project.

Given the aim of the initiative to promote regional cooperation, research and study of archives as well as the enhancement of the history, culture and art of the countries involved in the project, the four artists Enxhi Noni, Dario Haruni, Una Jovović and Tamara Pavićević used, in the making of their short film, archival material from the Albanian National Film Archive and the Montenegrin Cinematheque.

Among the participants of the event, there were the director of the Montenegrin Cinematheque Mr. Nemanja Bećanović, the director of the Albanian National Film Archive Mrs. Marinela Ndria as well as the representative of the Embassy of Montenegro in Tirana Mr. Pavllo Karanikic and the representative of Montenegrin National Minorities Mr. Marinko Culafic.

We can proudly announce that the initiative has fully achieved the goal of the RECON Project in promoting the cultural and historic heritage throughout creative production of short movies and cinematographic art.
